Emma - Lead Talent Partner

Hey hey! I’m Em and I’ve been part of our talent team at MPG since January 2021. I have over a decade of experience within recruitment and have had the pleasure of working within different industries spanning the technology and creative space. I am deeply passionate about fostering an inclusive culture and workplace, ensuring an engaging and seamless candidate experience and love helping people on their journey to a new career. I’m also part of our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging committee, which supports, develops and implements initiatives to enable us to be even more awesome!

As cliche as it sounds, it was the people! Everyone here is just a lovely human being! And where I say you can bring your authentic self to work - you really can.

MPG is our people and that is what makes us special. We are given the space to learn, grow and develop whilst being supported and surrounded by some of the best in the industry.

We are a small but a hell of a mighty team! We work across all departments here and manage all of our recruitment needs. No two days are the same and we have a front row seat, watching MPG grow and thrive. We will be the first face any candidate will meet and be there with them, throughout their hiring process.

My role within our team is working with hiring managers on their new roles, conducting interviews and managing the process from start to finish. I am also leading initiatives around inclusive hiring and sharing best practices with the rest of the business.

My favourite thing about working at MPG is seeing what we do as a talent team for our business. We help AAA studios make their games the best they can be and being part of people’s journeys and seeing them thrive is such an awesome feeling (Okay, so that’s two things).

My proudest achievement is helping and seeing the business double in size in a year! As well as seeing the work we are doing around Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging being welcomed with open arms.

• Listening to some good beats and dancing around the kitchen, whilst turning my hand at baking cakes (some have turned out better than others).
